1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering, and Landscape Review Sections and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the approved site plan. Please submit two copies of the approved and stamped site, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved site plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.
08/25/2010 ROBERT SHERRY PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. Provide a design for the mounting shelf for the water heater along with structural calculations to show that the water heater is safely supported. Reference: Sections 310.0 and 314.5, UPC 2006.
2. Show that the floor of the restroom slopes toward the floor drain. Reference: Section 411.2, UPC 2006.

5. The 2-way cleanout shown in Detail 6/P1.3 is in violation of Section 707.6, UPC 2006. Section 707.4 (4), UPC 2006 allows the use of an approved, 2-way cleanout fitting (note that "fitting" is singular) only as a substitute for an upper terminal cleanout.

08/26/2010 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. This project is under the jurisdiction of the City of Tucson, not Marana (Sheet M1.2, Condensate drains).
2. Provide energy code compliance calculations using the correct climate zone (Pima County < 4,000 feet, not the town of Pima, Arizona). Revise the calculations to match the construction of the building (e.g. the walls and the roof). Reference: Sections 101.4 and 104.2, International Energy Conservation Code 2006.
3. Specify the minimum resistance (R-value) of the duct insulation to be used on this project. Reference: Section 503.2.7, IECC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
4. Revise the ventilation calculations to coordinate with this activity (i.e. this is not an "education and office classification" and there is not a 2275-square foot office). Reference: Section 401.2, IMC 2006.
5. Clarify the amount of outside air to be supplied by each roof-top unit; the equipment schedule refers to the calculations which are ambiguous and the air balance schedule has different outside air quantities. Reference: Section 106.3.1, IMC 2006.
6. Revise the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans so that all of the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted. Reference: Section 403.2.1 (4), IMC 2006.
7. Show the location of keynote 6 on sheet M1.1.1 (EF-B1?). Reference: Section 106.3.1, IMC 2006.
