3. 11. An accessible cleanout shall be installed in each vent for a combination waste and vent system. Reference: Section 910.6, UPC 2006.
12. Vertical waste pipes (e.g. waste pipe from a hand sink) may not be connected with a combination waste and vent system through the use of vertical wet venting: they may be connected with the combination waste and vent system through the use of conventional waste and vent piping. 04/19/2010 ROBERT SHERRY MECHANICAL-COMMERCIAL REVIEW Denied 1. The 2006 International Mechanical Code with Local Amendments is the relevant code for the installation of the kitchen hoods.
2. Revise the size of the condensate drains (as shown on sheets MP1.1 and M3) in accordance with Section 307.2.1, IMC 2006, as amended by the City of Tucson.
3. Clarify the wall construction and the wall finishes adjacent to the Type I hoods to show that the hood installations comply with Section 507.9, IMC 2006 for clearances.
4. Note: with regard to the submitted Mechanical Compliance Certificate, the location of this existing Wal-Mart store is less than 4,000 feet in elevation, not greater than 4,000 feet.

The Electrical plans have been denied for the following:

1. Sheet E 4, the MSW Main Switchboard shows a new Section # 5 being added. The new section also has at the lower end , existing HB4 Section with a new concrete pad to be installed. Provide information on this new Section. Why is this being added, will this new section if being added be listed with the existing equipment, and how is existing HB4 involved ?
2.Sheet E1.2 , the 36 fixtures being replaced in the Garden Center Area , with new fixtures now appears to come under the 2005 City of Tucson Outdoor Lighting Ord., # 10135. These do not appear to be under a canopy, thus they would be required to be calculated as unshielded, and be Full Cut Off type. Please review this Ordinance for compliance and submit information.
3. The loads on individual panels have been reviewed for the 125% addition of fixtures on for continuous duty. The additional loads appear to be figured, but how have they been added to total ?
4.Sheet E 4.6 , "Connected Loads Table", how is the negative value for lighting(- 46KVA), and negative value for Refrigeration(- 25KVA) obtained ? Provide method of obtaining.
5. Provide a total load based on 2005 NEC 220.87 which is current, with dates of when approved , adding these new values , new loads or negative values
