NEC 2005, 690.14.C, indicates the grouping of disconnecting means for the Photovoltaic system to be grouped with all other disconnecting means of system. This plan shows the Inverter in a different location from service. In this case Section D of the same code requires items 1 thur 4 apply. These do not apply on the plan. 2. Connection to the Utility meter not allowed, the Utility company locks the terminations not allowing access. 3. Indicate conductor sizes for the system on Connection Diagram ( for inspectors reference). 4. If Inverter has disconnecting mens for DC and AC provide cut-sheet for verification.
