The following items must be revised or added to the plan. 1. Include a response letter with the next submittal that states how all comments have been addressed. 2. See redlines on the submitted drawings and address the additional redline comments. During the next submittal please re-submit the roll of redlines for back checking purposes. 3. Install R1-1 (Stop Sign) with street names at the proposed roadway entering this development off Park Avenue per PCDOT & TDOT Signing Manual (2002) Chap 5-11, 5-12, and Chap 9-2. I-2008-011 FROM: Richard Leigh, DOT, Permits and Codes Section RESUBMITTAL REQUIRED: Permits and Codes Section has reviewed the PIA Plan and does not recommend approval of the PIA Plan at this time. The following comments need to be addressed in the next submittal. 1. Include the plan number "I-2008-011" in title block of each sheet. 2. Include Development Services Department PIA activity (T08000010) and subdivision number on cover sheet. 3. Include the subdivision's recordation information (Book & Page) on cover sheet. 4. Include all linework used in plan set in the line legend. 5. Use current COT, DOT , PIA title block, see attached. 6. Remove traffic engineer signature line. 7. Provide a dimensioned detail of each type of curb access ramp proposed in the plan set. 8. Show existing improvements and include all details for any proposed improvements on 1st Avenue. Will curb and sidewalks be provided? 9. Include all details for the improvements within the Nebraska Wash. Show complete details for the storm drains and outlets (scour/bank protection). Are flap gates warrented? Manholes will be required within the 1st Avenue right-of-way for maintenance and storm drain locating. 10. Provide roadway hydraulic capacity analysis. 11. Lighten shading used for new pavement. 12. Provide complete details for the proposed right turn lane on Park Avenue. Include plan and profile and pavement structural details. 13. Indicate that all abandoned curb openings along Park Avenue will be closed. 14. Roadway cross section call-outs do not refer to the correct cross section. Check and revise as necessary. 15. Place additional curb access ramps as indicated on redlined plan set. 16. Label all elevations in the profile views. 17. Label and delineate roadway cross slope transitions in plan views. 18. Label and provide complete details for the proposed catch basin located at Sta. +/- 1+65, LT (Equality Lane) and Sta. +/- 2+89, LT (Hammer Place). 19. Provide a modified detail for the proposed catch basin situated on a radius and modified to accommodate 3 30" RCPs at Sta. +/- 12+28, LT ( Hammer Place). 20. Verify labeling of the roadway cross sections provided on sheet 12, see redlines. 21. Indicate the cross slopes in roadway cross sections. 22. The minimum sidewalk width for residential streets is five (5) feet wide. 23. Provide additional details for the proposed catch basins. Provide curb transition details, show modifications to catch basin to accommodate 30" RCPs, provide pipe inverts and slopes and indicate a minimum 2' buffer between the right-of-way line and the top of slope of the proposed basins. 24. Show all private storm drain pipes located within the public rights-of-way. A private drainage easement will have to be obtained for the proposed storm drain pipes located within the public rights-of-way. Additionally, manholes will have to be provided for locating purposes.
