11/26/2007 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | T07CM04338 11/26/07 1. Complete panel load calculations such that it is demonstrated that no phase is overloaded. For example, Phase A has 23.8 KVA of connected load, not 20.7, and 25% of it's largest motor is 3.37 KVA, not 4.5. So the total would be 27.2 KVA for Phase A, which is not on the plans. This would be 226A, which would overload the panel. Please reconsider your electrical loads on this panel, and note that the minimum that must be counted for a general use receptacle is only 180 VA (if you know it draws more load, then that needs to be counted of course). 2. 3.6 KVA would be 30A, which would not accomodate a 15A or 20A circuit. 3. Arizona State Board of Technical Registration Statutes 32-143 Exceptions, states: A registrant under this chapter may engage in practice in another category regulated pursuant to this chapter only to the extent that the person is qualified and to the extent that the work may be necessary and incidental to the work of the registrant's profession on a specific project. This exception does not apply to public works projects. Based upon the plans and in accordance with the State Board of Technical Registration Rules, this plan should be designed and sealed by an Arizona Registered Professional Electrical Engineer. |
