1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering, and Landscape Review Sections and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the approved development plan. Please submit two copies of the approved and stamped site, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved and stamped site plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.

1. Fixture G is on Circuit LP-18. No such panel. Reference Sheet E1.
2. Please correct the total lumens for the 100W HPS fixtures to read "51,300" not 34,200. This would correct the total to "305,300" not 288,200, and give a more accurate tally for future reference.
3. Please include an electrical compliance certificate for the 2006 IECC. Envelope and Mechanical were included in this submittal, but it appears that the Electrical got lift out.
4. PP1-19, labeled as a dedicated circuit, has two such "dedicated" runs on the Electrical Power Plan.
5. Point-of-Use Water Heater is 3000W according to Sheet P-1, and 1350W on PP1-41 and PP4-41. Please clarify.
6. Note that PP4-41 is a spare on the panel schedule..
7. Plumbing plans shall demonstrate that Water Heaters are cord-connected.
8. Point-of-Use Water Heater on PP5-2 specifies 120V on Electrical Power Plan. This circuit is part of a 2-pole on panel schedule. Please clarify.
9. Please provide a statement, coordinated with the Owner, about the intended activities. Given the presence of such items as the Band Saw, such statement will be used to determine whether this area shall be classified according to the requirements of NEC 500.5 (C).
10. AC-1 and AC-2 are specified as 3-phase on Sheet M1. Electrical provides single phase power. Please clarify.
11. Please size the bond on the transformer secondary according to NEC Table 250.66, or "1/0", instead of the #2.
12. Specify transformer grounding according to the requirements of NEC 250.30.
13. Specify bonding of the metal frame of the building. Reference NEC 250.50 and 250.52 (A) (2).
14. Distance from TEP transformer to SES, as measured on the 1/8" scale, would be aprox. 106', not 251'. That said, it appears that the scale on Sheet E1 is in error. Appears to be 20-scale, in which case the measurement is correct.
15. Distances to Panels PP2, PP3, and PP5 appear to be longer than those indicated by fault calculations, resulting in values smaller than 22K in some cases. Please correct this to avoid the prospect that some contractor attempts the installation of 22K rated equipment.
16. Please show fault calculations for the avalable fault current at the primary, then the secondary of the transformer. If, as the calculations presently indicate, the AFC at Panel PP4 is 22,843A, then the 10K rating of PP1 would not be sufficient.

2. Provide the minimum plumbing fixtures for the industrial and business occupancies. The substitution of a bottled water dispenser requires an appeal to the building official. Reference Chapter 29, IBC 2006.
3. Provide water supply isometrics. Reference Section 103.2.3, UPC 2006.
4. Provide a floor drain in the restroom. Reference Section 411.2, UPC 2006.
5. Show that the floor of the restroom slopes toward the floor drain. Reference Section 411.2, UPC 2006.
6. Show how the temperature of the hot water supply to the public lavatories is controlled. Reference Section 413.1, UPC 2006 and Section 504.3, IECC 2006.
7. Provide upper terminal cleanouts on horizontal drainage pipes exceeding 5 feet in length (horizontal drain lines serving sinks and urinals require cleanouts regardless of length). Reference Section 707.4, UPC 2006.
8. Provide cleanouts sized per Section 707.11, UPC 2006.
9. Show how water is to be supplied to the evaporative coolers and include the demand in the water calculations. Reference Sections 103.2.3 and 610.1, UPC 2006.

4. Provide calculations to show that the main portion of the building complies with the requirements of Section 101.5.2, IECC 2006, for exemption from the building thermal envelope provisions of the code.
5. Provide information to show that the installation of R-19 batt insulation (approximately 5.5 to 6.5 inches thick) along with the R-10 insulation (approximately 4 inches thick between the girts) provided by the metal building manufacturer in an 8 inch cavity can provide the full, rated insulation value. Reference Section 102.2, IECC 2006.
6. Show how adequate access is being provided for the equipment located on the roof. Reference Section 306.5, IMC 2006.
7. Provide the installed weight of the rooftop equipment. Reference Section 106.3.1, IMC 2006.
8. Provide a design for the drainage from the evaporative coolers. Reference Sections 106.3.1 and 304.1, IMC 2006.
