| 03/11/2008 | ROBERT SHERRY | PLUMBING-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | 1. Table 902.1, IBC 2006 requires at least one drinking fountain per 400 occupants in F-1 occupancies. In addition, the drinking fountain shall meet the accessibility requirements as shown in Section 1109.5, IBC 2006. 2. Tucson Water locates all water meters at the road, not at the building. Revise the water pressure calculations to include the correct developed pipe length from the meter to the furthest plumbing outlet (see the site plan). Reference: Section 610.2, UPC 2006. |
| 03/19/2008 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. The "c" value for 500 kcmil is 26706 for non-magnetic conduit, not 25000. THIS COMMENT WAS MADE ON THE REVIEWS OF 8/10/07 AND 11/21/08. Please refer to TEP Standard SR-510, which states that for single phase commercial services 400A or less, the Available Fault Current at the line terminals of the metering equipment is limited to 22,000A as long as the utility secondary is at least 45' long. If such is the case here, it is suggested that you simply document this on the plans and remove the other references to fault currents and fault calculations. 2. Please remove the redundant GND between the meter and service disconnect. 3. Note that on one of the sets, Sheet E3.0 lacks the Registrant's seal. |
