10. The suspended unit heater branch circuits are to be considered as continuous loads. Reference NEC 424.3 (B).
11. Phase A and B appear to have 43,150 VA and 42,045 VA respectively, not 33770 and 33813. Panel would be overloaded with a 300A main.
12. Panel schedule indicated 300A main on panel. Line diagram indicates 400A main on panel. Please clarify.
13. Panel P disconnecting means is 3-pole. Electrical service is single-phase. Please clarify.
14. It appears that the distance between the utility transformer terminals and the service entrance is 109', not 340'.
15. The equation used to calculate fault current lacks the two as a multiplier, used in the case of a single phase system.
16. The "c" value for 500 kcmil is 26706 for non-magnetic conduit, not 25000.
17. I1 as calculated in "Short Circuit Calc", and as noted on the line diagram, have different values.
18. Panel schedule indicates "FULL RATED" and "SERIES RATED." Clarify intent.
19. For any series rating, specify the line side and load side ratings.
20. General Note A Short Circuit Calc, does not address the branch circuit circuit breakers. Please note that a three-tiered series-rated system is not available commercially.

Plans: One (1) set of building plans (26 sheets, C1 through E4) Sealed by Mardonio Talavera. Dated May 14, 2007.

Structural Calculations: Two (2) sets.

These documents were reviewed only for their conformance to the provisions of the 2006 International Building Codes (i.e., State of Arizona and Tucson amended 2006 IRC, 2006 IMC, 2005 NEC and 2006 IPC).

Please submit an itemized response letter and required number of complete and revised documents with all revisions clouded.

1. The building plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve the plan until it has been approved by the Engineering, and Landscape Review Sections and until all zoning comments or concerns have been addressed.

2. Zoning could not verify that the building plan was in compliance with the approved development plan. Please submit two copies of the approved and stamped development, landscape, and NPPO plans with the next building plan submittal.

3. Zoning will re-review the building plan on the next submittal to insure compliance with the approved site/development plan. Additional comments may be forthcoming.

4. A site card with DSD approvals by Fire, Zoning, Handi-cap, Engineering, and Landscape/NPPO including the approved development plan stamped for site plan approval and signatures is required before the building plan can be approved by Zoning. Two copies of the approved development plan, landscape and NPPO plans are to be submitted with the building plans packet for processing and approval as a site plan. No fees are involved in re-stamping the development/tentative plat plans as an approved site plan. The development plan may be walked through for stamps and site card sign off. 7. Revise the water pressure calculations to include the pressure drop due to the reduced pressure backflow preventer and the correct developed pipe length from the meter to the furthest plumbing outlet (see the site plan). Reference Section 610.2, UPC 2006.
8. The 2-way cleanout shown is in violation of Section 707.6, UPC 2006.
9. Provide an end of run cleanout at the break room sink. Reference Section 707.4, UPC 2006.
10. Provide vent piping of sufficient size to comply with Section 904.1, UPC 2006.
