| 08/13/2007 | LINDA BUCZYNSKI | ELECTRICAL-COMMERCIAL | REVIEW | Denied | TRANSMIT ORIGINAL DRAWINGS WITH NEXT SUBMITTAL. PLEASE CALL AT 791-5550 X1106 OR EMAIL AT Linda.Buczynski@tucsonaz.gov IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS. 1. Demonstrate compliance with the 2006 IECC. 2. Plumbing Sheet P1.0 specifies a 3KW Water Heater. Electrical provides for 2.5KW. Coordinate with Plumbing and clarify. 3. Provide a disconnecting means for the Water Heater. Reference NEC 422 Part III. 4. Provide load information on panel schedule for Refrigerator Ckt 26. 5. Provide load information on panel schedule for Microwave Ckt 28. 6. Provide load information on panel schedule for Receptacles Ckt 29. 7. Provide load information on panel schedule for Receptacles Ckt 31. 8. Panel schedule provides power for duct-mounted strip heater on Ckt 18,20. This was not found on the Mechanical sheets or the electrical plan. 9. Please provide more detail on the purpose of this new metal building. General Note 2 on Sheet A1.0 indicates "general manufacturing," which does not eliminate such considerations as classified locations. 10. The suspended unit heater branch circuits are to be considered as continuous loads. Reference NEC 424.3 (B). 11. Phase A and B appear to have 43,150 VA and 42,045 VA respectively, not 33770 and 33813. Panel would be overloaded with a 300A main. 12. Panel schedule indicated 300A main on panel. Line diagram indicates 400A main on panel. Please clarify. 13. Panel P disconnecting means is 3-pole. Electrical service is single-phase. Please clarify. 14. It appears that the distance between the utility transformer terminals and the service entrance is 109', not 340'. 15. The equation used to calculate fault current lacks the two as a multiplier, used in the case of a single phase system. 16. The "c" value for 500 kcmil is 26706 for non-magnetic conduit, not 25000. 17. I1 as calculated in "Short Circuit Calc", and as noted on the line diagram, have different values. 18. Panel schedule indicates "FULL RATED" and "SERIES RATED." Clarify intent. 19. For any series rating, specify the line side and load side ratings. 20. General Note A Short Circuit Calc, does not address the branch circuit circuit breakers. Please note that a three-tiered series-rated system is not available commercially. |
