Plumbing Comments:

1. The two 2" roof drains for serving section "C" and half of section B are undersized based on Table 11-1, UPC 2006.
2. The scupper draining roof section "A" is too narrow for the area it is draining. Reference: Section 1101.11.2, UPC 2006.
3. The overflow scupper draining roof section "C" is too narrow for the area it is draining. Reference: Section 1101.11.2, UPC 2006.
4. For section "C", the height of the bottom of the overflow scupper above the low point of the roof is unclear. If it is greater than 2" above the low point of the roof, provide structural calculations to show that the roof is capable of supporting the additional rain load Section 1611.1, IBC 2006.
5. Provide information and calculations to show that the existing combination of scuppers and roof drains for roof section "E" is adequate to handle the overflow drainage from roof section "C" and half of roof section "B". Reference: Sections 103.2.3 and 1101.11.1, UPC 2006.
6. Provide information and calculations to show that the existing roof drains for the north roof section are adequate to handle the overflow drainage from roof section "A" and half of roof section "B". Reference: Sections 103.2.3 and 1101.11.1, UPC 2006.
7. Roof section "D" appears to discharge to a small area between building sections. Show how this conforms to the requirements of Section 1803.3, IBC 2006.
