This permit is for the purpose of construction of a commercial retail building within a mapped Flood Hazard Area, Zone X (Shaded), as shown on the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), Community Panel No. 040076-04019C-1619K, effective date February 8, 1999. 2. The proposed structure is impacted by the regulatory floodplain. For purposes of this permit, the following elevation requirements apply: Base Flood Elevation (BFE) = 2290.0 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29) Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE) = 2291.0 feet per the National Geodetic Vertical Datum (NGVD '29) The top of the lowest finished floor (FFE) shall be elevated at or above the Regulatory Flood Elevation (RFE). Service facilities, such as electrical equipment, shall be constructed at or above the RFE and either be placed on flood proof materials or be adequately flood proofed. Prior to the pouring of the first slab or finish floor installation, a Building-Under-Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division of the Development Services Department. A hold will be placed on the slab inspection (P2S) until the Elevation Certificate has been returned and approved. Prior to any final inspections, a Finished Construction Elevation Certificate, completed and certified by an Arizona Registered Land Surveyor, must be returned to the Engineering Division. A hold will be placed on the final inspection (P2F) until the Elevation Certificate has been returned and approved. 3. Construction and maintenance of the on-site Retention/Detention Basin shall be in accordance with the approved Drainage Report for Bluewater Marine, sealed by Kevin M. Hall, P.E. of DCC dated 10/23/06. 4. Any additional improvements will require a separate Floodplain Use Permit prior to construction. |
