Magnolia, Mary Meredith K-12 Public School (TUSD) Zoning waived, Review done for ANSI compliance TRANSMITTAL DATE: October 27, 2006 COMMENTS: Please resubmit revised drawings along with redlines and a response letter, which states how all Zoning Review Section comments regarding American National Standard Institute (ANSI) requirements were met. Zoning regulations are not applicable to land and uses owned/operated under the State of Arizona. Instead, zoning reviews only handicapped accessibility requirements. 1. It is not clear if the Phase I plan shows current conditions in relation to pedestrian and handicapped access and just new buildings were added to the plan - or changes were not shown on this plan. Staff only reviewed the Phase II plan for ANSI compliance, as it appeared to have dimensions and other notations. If any activity is to be shown on sheet one, that plan should be clarified with notes and dimensions of all activities/changes, and staff can review the ANSI requirements at the counter for this plan. 2. With regards to sidewalks - please label the width of all sidewalks. 3. With regards to truncated domes - please install them at the edge of the access aisle where transitioning into the drop off PAAL. 4. With regards to handicapped signage - please provide a note on the civil sheet that states the fine is $518.00 for illegal parking and that the sign post shall be 7' from the ground to the bottom edge of the sign (excludes any van accessible plaque). Declare if van accessible space with signage. 5. Please note, these changes can be reviewed at the counter.
