Comments:

1. The Retaining wall plan has been reviewed by Zoning Review Section but cannot approve it at this time.

Please address the following and resubmit for review.

The land use code allows walls up to a maximum of tent feet in height which includes the retaining wall. Per the structural analysis plans the maximum height of the wall is to be 13 feet. The allowed height is exceeded by 3 feet. A board of adjustment variance approval is required if the applicant wishes to construct the wall as drawn on the structural documents. Otherwise the document must be revised and a note added to state that the maximum wall height to be constructed is ten feet. The same note must be added to the grading plan.

2. Zoning is willing to review the plans over the counter once the changes are made. Please call in advance and schedule an appointment with me prior to coming in with the revisions.
