Reference Arizona Revised Statutes 32-125, Board of Technical Registration Rules R4-30-304. 2. An air admittance valve is not listed for use with the vent of a flow control device. 3. Connecting the drain line from the hand sink and the spray washer to the vent of the floor sink is not allowed under Section 908.1, UPC 1994. Wet vents may only accept the trap arms of fixtures. 4. The indirect waste line from the 3-compartment sink appears to be greater than 5 feet in length. Add a trap to the indirect waste line. Reference Section 803.0, UPC 1994. 5. Pick up the revisions shown on the approved drawing (e.g. keynote 18, mechanical general note 10) in include them on the proposed revision. 6. What happened to the mechanical general requirements? 7. Clarify the total gas load on the meter. The drawing shows 520 CFH of load but keynote 12 calls out a total load of 578 CFH. 8. Section 603.3.12, UPC 1994 requires potable water supplies to carbonators to be protected with a reduced pressure principle backflow preventer. |
