This letter reflects comments to be addressed with a written response to each of the noted items indicating the action taken. In order to facilitate a shorter back-check time, we request that you please provide revised plans and calculations, highlighting any changes that have been made. SCOPE OF REVIEW: The scope of this review covers Architectural, Structural, Plumbing, Mechanical and Electrical. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. ARCHITECTURAL: q Sheet A0.01: Revise seismic classification per the IBC. q Sheet A0.01: Verify and correct the type of construction classification per the IBC. Supplemental date provide with the plan indicates that the construction type is "IB". What is the correct classification? Details A & B/A3.01 and 5/A3.02 indicate there are attachments to the existing structural system which is required to be of fire resistive construction per the assigned Type of Construction classification noted on plans. Revise details to indicate type of fire-proofing that exists and provide design/direction for maintaining fire-resistive construction. Similar for sheet A5.02.
