All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittal provided. All portions of the project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions and concerns before permit approval. GENERAL: q There are no general comments to be addressed. ARCHITECTURAL: q The top rail height of the guard at the two stairs is not clearly indicated on the plans. Detail 10 on Sheet A6.07 shows the guard taller than the handrail and dimensions the height of the handrail, however it does not indicate the guard height. Detail 9 on Sheet A6.08 shows the guard and handrail height being equal. The guard needs to be at least 42" which is well above the handrail height [2000 IBC Sec. 1003.2.12.1]. STRUCTURAL: q Provide a two copies of the geotechnical report referenced in the structural calculations. q Provide a special inspection certificate(s) for the following: · Engineered Fill · Concrete/Reinforcement · Masonry · High-Strength Bolts · Epoxy Anchors q Roof Framing Plan Y3 on Sheet S2 indicates with Detail 45 that the top of the wall is CMU, while the remainder of the details indicate that the wall is a concrete tilt-up wall. Please clarify. MECHANICAL: q There are no mechanical comments to be addressed. PLUMBING: q There are no plumbing comments to be addressed.
