Will you be submitting these as separate permits or as deferred submittals to this permit? However, Sheet P1.01 for example references a sheet not in this set (P1.04) for the kitchen or food service drawings (as if the kitchen is part of this permit). Sheet E2.1 indicates that the kitchen and dining area is to be under a separate submittal (i.e. a deferred submittal to this permit?). Please coordinate. This previous comment has not been addressed. The written response indicates that the consultant drawings were revised to reflect a separate submittal. However, Sheet P1.01 still references a sheet not in this set (P1.04) for the kitchen or food service drawings (as if the kitchen is part of this permit). Also, Sheet E2.1 still indicates that the kitchen and dining area is to be under a separate submittal (i.e. a deferred submittal to this permit). Please coordinate. ARCHITECTURAL: q Review the door schedule for fire rated doors and correct the door schedule accordingly. There are 3 doors (51B, 53, and 231B) listed as 60 minute doors, with none of these doors in rated walls. Where is door 101A in the door schedule? This door needs to be a fire rated assembly. There are at least 13 doors that need to be fire rated. Please indicate. This previous comment has been partially addressed. Doors were not approved for the shell permit. Reference the comment letters and response to the comment letters for the shell permit along with the note on Sheet A10.02 stating "No doors in this permit". So, where is Door 101A (and all the other doors presumed to be permitted in the shell permit - such as stair doors, doors from mechanical rooms entering the building directly, etc.)? q The exit passageway and the exit vestibules leading from the stairs to the exterior of the building need to be of 1-hour fire-resistance rated construction [2000 IBC Sec. 1005.3.3 and 1006.1, Exception 2]. All doors in these exit enclosures also need to be rated. This previous comment has been partially addressed. The east wall of the corridor is still indicated (both the hatching and wall type symbol - A3) as a non-rated wall. The wall type legend describes Wall A3 as having regular 5/8" gypsum board although the detail reference (Detail 03 on Sheet A8.08) describes 2 layers of 5/8" type "X" gypsum board on each side. Which is it? This same issue exists on the passageway upstairs at the same stair location. Please clarify on the plans. Wall Type A6 should also be clarified. STRUCTURAL: q There are no structural comments to be addressed. MECHANICAL: q Fire dampers need to be provided at the wall separating Office 009 from Vestibule 031 (Reference Sheet M1.03). This wall is a 2-hour fire rated wall. q The ductwork is unclear on Sheet M2.04, between grid lines "L" through "J" and "10" through"9". Does the 22" round connect to the 32" x 36" duct? And from where does the 34" round duct that serves VAV 6-8 and 6-9 hail? PLUMBING: q The plumbing design is incomplete. There are only two sheets in the set submitted and these two sheets reference several other sheets that are not a part of this set. Review of the plumbing plans will be done when complete plans are submitted. This previous comment has been partially addressed. Clearly indicate on Sheet P1.01 which scope of work has been previously permitted. Much of the work shown on this sheet was previously permitted. Several areas are boxed out with references to see other sheets that are not a part of this set (or this permit). Many of these items were either previously permitted (such as the restrooms) or are to be permitted in the future (such as the kitchen). Please clarify on the plans what is under a separate permit and remove references to sheets that are not a part of this set. q The gas diagram on Sheet P3.02 references Sheet P1.04 that is not a part of this set. Please remove the reference and indicate that there will be a future connected load after the regulator of 724 c.f.h. q Clearly indicate on the gas line isometric on Sheet P3.02 which part of the system is medium pressure gas.
