IF YOU CARE TO DISCUSS.

Sheet E1
1. Show available fault current and calculations, as appropriate, at various levels of the system.
2. Conduit #7, as it feeds Panel LP-2 from T-1, if aluminum, shall have #4 EGC and GEC. Sized per the #1 phase conductors.
3. Same as Comment #3 for the run from TE-1 to LPE-1.
4. Clarify the location of the fused disconnect feeding TE-1.
5. It appears that the conductors on the secondary of TE-1 should be protected, as none of the criteria under NEC 240-21 (c) are met.
6. Rooftop Units do not have overload protection specifically called out on electrical plans, nor in the electrical specifications. The circuit breakers appear to be oversized for the size of the motors. However, the mechanical specifications (15780-4 2.3 Rooftop Units, Sections M and O) explicitly call for overload protection in each phase, minimum circuit ampacity, and maximum circuit breaker size. Please annotate: "Overload protection, conductor ampacity, and circuit breakers for all (RTU) Rooftop Units shall be in compliance with manufacturer's recommendations." Also, coordinate with the Mechanical Engineer to assure that the motor feeders are consistent with manufacturer nameplate information.
7. Specify whether conductors in parallel on Feeder Schedule are in conduit which is paralleled as well, for example, that for (2) sets of conductors there are (2) conduits as well. If not, some feeders may have to be evaluated for conduit fill and temperature derate.
8. Provide ground fault protection per NEC 230-95. Note exception #2, which exempts fire pumps.
9. Generator specifications 16621-3, 2.7, A call for 22,000 AIC rating of transfer switches. It is unclear whether this would be sufficient especially without available fault current at the transfer switches.
10. Because a second service is being dedicated to the Fire Pump, it is necessary to provide proper labeling per NEC 230-2 (e).
11. Clarify how and where the grounding electrode system is to be established for the service dedicated to the Fire Pump. It does not appear that the #8 GND should be in the conduit (second feed).

Sheet E2
1. Provide calculations for Interior Lighting Power per the IECC.
2. Provide catalogue for Fixture G2 and all other outdoor fixtures. Note that any light source over 50 watts shall be fully shielded, per the Lighting Ordinance.
3. It is not clear that Fixture J2 is suitable for the location.

Sheet E4A
1. Show disconnects for coolers, or specify that CBs shall be capable of being locked in the open position.

Sheet E6
1. If the intent of the fuses in the disconnects is to provide overload protection to CU-1 and CU-2, it appears that they are oversized. Using the kW values from the Equipment Schedule of Sheet E11, it appears that fuses for both should be sized at 15A.

Sheet E8
1. Provide overload protection, if necessary for the electric wall heater, EWH-2, if not integral with the unit.
2. It is not clear which Panel and Circuit are powering AC-1, AC-2 and AC-3, the single-phase fans.

Sheet E8A
1. Provide disconnect for EUH-1.

Sheet E8B
1. Insufficient working clearance in front of MDP-1. See NEC Table 110-26 (a) Condition 3, 151-600V to ground. Rearrange, or justify otherwise.
2. Same as Comment #1 above regarding the clearance between T-2 and Panels LP-5A and LP-5B. It appears that T-2 could move over a few inches to meet clearance requirements.

Sheet E9
1. Please relocate the disconnect for the Compactor, such that it is "in sight of" this equipment.

Sheet E9A
1. Per NEC 695-12 (d), all energized fire pump equipment shall be located at least 12" AFF. Please cover this requirement in a note or detail, or include in Specifications 15303 2.1 Skid General Construction.
2. Per NEC 695-12 (e), fire pump controllers shall be located/protected so that they will not be damaged by water escaping from the pumps/connections. Please cover this requirement in a note or detail, or include in Specifications 15303 2.1 Skid General Construction.
3. Per NEC 695-12 (f), all energized fire pump control equipment shall be on noncombustible supporting structures. Please cover this requirement in a note or detail, or include in Specifications 15303 2.1 Skid General Construction.
4. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 1.4 References, C, annotate that National Electrical Code is NFPA 70.
5. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 2.2 Electrical, A, for AC wiring within skid limits, liquidtight flexible conduit, if non-metallic, shall be of Type LFNC-B.
6. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 2.5 Fire Pump and Accessories, C, Main Fire Pump Controller, 4 (b), finish the unfinished sentence, starting with, "The circuit breaker shall be capable of being…"
7. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 2.5 Fire Pump and Accessories, C, Main Fire Pump Controller, 4 (c), finish the unfinished sentence, starting with, "The circuit breaker trip curve adjustment shall be factory set,…"
8. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 2.5 Fire Pump and Accessories, C Main Fire Pump Controller, Paragraph (c), circuit breaker shall be sized per NEC 695-4 (b) (1). The OC device shall be selected or set to carry indefinitely the locked rotor current of the fire pump motor. It appears that this is the intent of the following paragraph (d) but the wording is somewhat unclear. Please clarify. There may be some misunderstanding of intent due to the unfinished sentences noted in Comments #6 & #7 above. We may need to discuss.
9. Specifications 15303 2.1 Skid General Construction, maintain proper working clearance around controllers per NEC 110-26.
10. Specifications 15303, Skid-Mounted Fire Pump, 2.5 Fire Pump and Accessories, C Main Fire Pump Controller, provide Electrical Diagrams and Instructions according to the requirements of NFPA 7.3.7, such as the schematic attached to the inside of controller enclosure, marking of field wiring terminals, and controller operation instructions mounted on the controller.

Sheet E10, E10A
1. Provide load calculations for panels.
2. On Panel LP-7, it appears that the 20/1 CB is oversized to provide Ground Fault and Short Circuit protection on Circuit 18 for CP-1. NEC 430-52.
3. On Panel LP-2, it appears that the 20/1 CB is oversized to provide Ground Fault and Short Circuit protection on Circuit 11 for UH-1 and UH-3. NEC 430-52.

fire retardant pressure treated .
2) How is the folding partition on sheet A-5 of plans supported? Is it attached to the
roof? Or a beam? Clarify.
3) Sheet A-10, identify the walldetails, as to wheather they are 1-hour or 2-hour
fire rated. Specify the UL No.,Gypsum Design No. or the IBC No.

calc`s. Provide a schematic(road map) diagram.
10) Structural-Sheet 22 of calc`s specifies that the joist is dissipating 24.2k of axial
load and the length is 100', where is this on plans? Are the other girders doing the same? Clarify!
11) Structural-Refer to GSN sheet S-3, Item 4, under additional allowance over
storage area.. Is this additional 5 psf. Being considered in the roof computations?
Show in calc`s where.
