E2-1.25 1) Provide a floor plan depicting the location of MCC4A, disconnects, transfer switch, UPS, transformer, and UPS4L. 2) Provide T4U grounding electrode conductor size. 3) Clarify how the 30 amp disconnect and maintenance bypass switches are connected to MCC4A. If it is your intention to tap the buss as indicated in Note 4 on the plan, provide a design demonstrating exactly how the taps are to be made. The 99NEC 240-21(b)(1)(d) requires a minimum #6 copper tap conductor. Additionally a statement under the electrical engineers seal must certify the modified equipment or a new certification from an approved testing lab would be required. See 99NEC 90-7, 110-3, 110-26 and 240-21. |
