The gross area of this parcel is 4.04 acres. The subject parcel can be serviced for solid waste collection and removal from Drexel Road on the north side of the parcel and from Tucson Boulevard on the west side of the parcel. Both of these streets are within the service area of the City of Tucson for solid waste collection and also within the service areas of private solid waste collection companies. There are no concerns about solid waste and recycling material collection and removal from the subject parcel. Solid waste and recycling material storage on the commercial / industrial subdivision will be centralized in one or more enclosures housing containers for refuse and recycling materials. There are no concerns about refuse and recycling material storage on the subject parcel. Based on our review of the final plat materials for the proposed commercial / industrial subdivision to be located at the intersection of Drexel Road and Tucson Boulevard, there are no concerns about the on-site storage or collection for off-site disposal of refuse or recycling materials and ES approves the final plat from a solid waste standpoint.
