Site in compliance with Plan Tucson, as outlined below:

The proposed flexible lot development, a residential subdivision is located within an "Existing Neighborhoods," area as identified by Plan Tucson. An Existing Neighborhoods category is primarily developed and largely built-out neighborhoods and commercial districts in which minimal new development and redevelopment is expected. The goal is to maintain the character of these neighborhoods, while accommodating some new development and redevelopment and encouraging reinvestment and new services and amenities that contribute further to neighborhood stability.

Plan Tucson provides more specific direction and support in Chapter 3 - The Social Environment, under housing policies H8 and H9 which state housing facilities to promote safe, decent, and affordable housing and neighborhoods that support aging in place and is to address the housing needs of the most vulnerable populations in the community, including those at risk of homelessness. Providing a variety of housing for all segments of the population is the key.

In addition, the subject subdivision plat S05-211, Camino Seco Village was approved with the flexible lot development option and recorded in Book 63, Page 75, with general note # 32, which states that prior to model plan approval, Department of Urban Planning & Design (now merged with C.O.T. Planning and Development Services Department), shall approve model plan elevations. Community Planning staff has approved the proposed model homes, each with a variety four-sided building elevations.
