The proposed sewer collection lines to serve the above-referenced project have been reviewed on behalf of the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality (PDEQ) and the Pima County Wastewater Management Department (PCWMD). This review letter may contain comments pertaining to the concerns of either Department. The following comments are offered for your use.


SHEETS 1 & 6. Show the recording information for the sewer easement.

Subject to the above, the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality and Wastewater Management Department hereby approve the above referenced submittal of the final plat. The required revision(s) may be shown on the Mylars.

Please note the following: Approval of the above referenced submittal does not authorize the construction of public or private sewer collection lines, or water distribution lines. Prior to the construction of such features, a Construction Authorization (Approval To Construct) may need to be obtained from the Pima County Environmental Quality.

Also, air quality activity permits must be secured by the developer or prime contractor from the Pima County Department of Environmental Quality before constructing, operating or engaging in an activity which may cause or contribute to air pollution.

The Zoning Review Section approves the final plat for this subdivision, subject to the following changes on the executed final plat. However, should there be any changes requested by other CDRC members, the Zoning Review Section approval is void, and we request copies of the revised final plat to verify that those changes do not affect any zoning requirements.

Provide the recording information for the easement of the public access trail along Mesquite Wash.

Tucson Electric Power Company (TEP) has reviewed the final plat dated June 16, 2004. TEP is unable to approve the plat at this time. The preliminary electrical design for the subject subdivision will be mailed today. Please review this design and contact this office by August 12, 2004 with any conflicts or desired changes. Your written approval of this design is necessary for a final construction drawing. Any changes requested after we have received your written approval will be billable.

In order for this Company to approve the final plat, the following will be required.

For those lots that do not have a 10' Public Utility Easement strip in front of the lots, a 6' x 6' easement is required at each of the pedestal locations. (Sheet 7)
Delete the word FOR from the third paragraph of the dedication to read as: "......ALL EASEMENTS AS SHOWN HEREON FOR THE PURPOSES OF ACCESS, INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PUBLIC SEWERS AND UTILITIES............"

A copy of the preliminary design has been forwarded to Southwest Gas. Please insure utility coordination by providing a copy of this preliminary design to Qwest and the Cable Company. Show all requested requirements on the resubmittal of the final plat. Submit two bluelines to the City of Tucson for TEP's final approval.
