Elvado Road in Tucson. This development consists of 7 two and three bedroom units for elderly housing. Section 8, Paragraph 8-01.5.1 A of the Technical Standards Manual requires centralized solid waste and recycle collection service for development projects consisting of six or more residential units. The applicant is proposing to provide three 95 gallon APCs (two APCs for refuse and one APC for recycling materials) to be located adjacent to each other on the northern portion of the site near E. Elvado Road. The waste stream calculations were reviewed and are correct. Please have the applicant clarify the following points. Is a concrete slab being proposed for the APC location? Since a concrete block enclosure is not being proposed, will there be any screening of the APCs from adjoining properties? Assuming satisfactory answers, the Environmental & General Services Department approves the use of 95 gallon APCs at the 348 E.
