Revise the plans to use only indigenous native plants in the scenic route buffer area. (remove Texas Mountain Laurel etc.) Revise the notes on sheet 10 and 11 regarding the 30' natural undisturbed buffer. Dimension the buffer as approved by TDOT and eliminate the language regarding preservation and maintenance in a natural state. See TSM 5-02.3.1 regarding native plant revegetation, also use a native seed mix in lieu of the decomposed granite. 2) Revise the Landscape Borders note on Sheet 18 related to Houghton Rd. The standard decomposed granite, 50% coverage and canopy tree requirements are not applicable. 3) Provide documentation of the Protected Native Plant status for the Old Vail Road right of way. Indicate if a plan will be provided or if the area qualifies for an exception. |
