Solid waste management activities at the Wilmot Plaza were approved by ES in December of 2014 under Project No. DP14-0143. The proposed revision is to provide a single refuse enclosure at Building 1 rather than the approved double enclosure. The occupant of Building 1 has requested a single refuse enclosure at this location. Based on a conversation with Mr. Jeff Hunt from Cypress Civil Development, there is sufficient waste disposal capacity at the Wilmot Plaza facility with a single refuse enclosure at Building 1 based on the waste generation calculations performed as part of the original plan submittal. The refuse enclosure revisions, as depicted on Sheets 2, 3 and 9, comply with the specifications in Technical Standard Manual Section 8.
