Thrall (Heather.Thrall@tucsonaz.gov) Date: 12/22/22 Codes; Unified Development Code (UDC) 7A Sign Standards, National Electrical Code (NEC 600), Tucson - Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code (OLC) and International Building Code (IBC) 2018. 1. Excellent submittal - thank you. The submittal package can be approved once the following notes are added to the top sheet of the drawing set: A) All signs and power supply components are UL listed. B) All signs shall have a UL sticker, manufacturer sticker, and installer sticker, located on the exterior of the sign. C) All dedicated sign circuits shall be labeled. D) A safety lock out shall be provided for all signs where the shut off switch is not directly visible to the sign. E. Local provided timers shall be located next to the breaker panel. If a corporate timer is involved, simply note on the plans. F. Signs shall shut off at midnight, or when the business closes (later of two).
