COMMENTS:
1. Sheet 1 of 4 and Sheet 2 of 4
i. Provide detail drawing as to how the sign is attached, make sure to specify the type of attachment/anchors used and their embedment depths and how often/how many are used. Do make sure to show/indicate the wall materials the signs are attached to.
ii. This sign is over 30 ft in the air, please provide the Structural detail drawings and calculations on these wall signs that are sealed/signed/dated. Ideally, when calculating the lateral forces, please use 115 mph 3 second gust of wind.

i. Please provide detail drawing as to how the sign is attached to the steel pipe (specify the diameter of pipe if applicable), show where they are and how often they occur, make sure to specify the type of attachment/anchors used. Please have the same structural engineer used in item #1 above generate the drawing/calculation with his/her seal/signature/date on them.
1. Provide information on the footing (depth, dimensions, etc.)
ii. Please submit structural drawings as to how the sign cabinet is attached to the steel pipe as well as how the skirt is attached to the pipe. If skirt is in any way attached to the masonry, provide attachment detail drawing. How often do these attachments occur, locate them on your drawings. 2. NOTE: show the structural members of the sign cabinet and skirt on your drawings. To illustrate this provide a section drawing of the sign top to bottom.
3. Please provide a special inspection certificate with Part A, and Part B completed with next submittal. Signs 30 ft above ground requires this. Ensure that Part B is sealed/signed/dated by the special inspector in charge. Ensure to use Special Inspectors who are active in the approved list of special inspectors. They are available in the following links:

04/29/2025 Signs Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1) More information needed on application. See notes on red lined drawings.
2) Need clarification on use of backer panel for wall signs. Need to see attachment details for letters to backer panel, backer panel to raceway and raceway to wall. Need backer to be included in photo elevation and on sign area calculations.
3) Need call out for what the wall is made of.
4) Proposed new monument sign will need commercial review as new sign is adding height and square footage to existing base. Commercial review will likely need the original engineering for the original sign.
5) Is this going to be a monument sign or a low profile sign? Need height of base added to drawings.
6) Need to add note to freestanding sign drawings stating no onsite welding will occur.
7) Need original approved stamped site plan showing the dimension to scale instead of location map.
