UDC: A) Per DTM engineering staff, the paving and right of way plans available do not specify the location of the property line at the area where sign B would be installed at a 15’ setback, per the Master Sign Program. Have property line marked to verify on site installation for setback inspection, otherwise TRE review required to be in right of way. (Permit can be issued, it’s just this inspection for setbacks cannot be done without the PL being marked there.) B) Add note to aerial plan: all SVTS are lined up with street curbs and edges of driveways, and all signs shall be located out of the SVTS. C) Add note to aerial location plan, all signs shall be 5’ from fire hydrants, 2’ from driveways, 18” from any parking spaces. D) Add the sign setbacks that are listed in the plan sheet (keep this this sheet) to the aerial sheet where the SVTs are shown. E) Add note per 7A, 11. Scenic – light shall be emitted solely through text / logos on the signs at night, and not to fully illuminate any panel 2. NEC: A) Add note power to be run by others via separate electrical permit B) Add note that inspectors will be shown the location of power box or panel for dedicated sign circuits C) Add note that timers can be found where power panel / box is provided 3. OLC: no comments, thank you 4. IBC: field welding requires special inspection, as does the other special inspections called out for caissons and piling B) clarify how the top embellishment is attached to the sign structure / cabinet – add notes C) clarify how many cradle locations to pipe welds are planned – ie. Appears should be two to and bottom of cabinet? D) add general notes for compliance with Master Sign Program what the building materials are on this sign support structure system for signs A and B. The setback inspection cannot be scheduled until the property line is marked, but the permit can be issued. |
