1) Posted Speeds 30 Mph or Less – Less than 14 lane - Use of the R4-11 alone is acceptable and preferred over Share The Road sign -
2) Posted Speeds 30 Mph or less – greater than 14 lane - Use of Share The Road sign is preferred
3) Posted Speeds 30 Mph or More – Any Lane Size - Provide a reasonable alternative for cyclists, such as a paved path, space behind barricades, or bike detour. Acceptable to direct cyclists to the sidewalk when properly signed depending on conditions
