Comments: 1. The proposed pedestrian detour is too long (over 660’ south to Bilby). Please provide a sidewalk diversion as described in MUTCD figure 6H-28, and Section 6F.63. In your next submission, include a sidewalk control plan, showing dimensions, calling our surfaces, temporary ramps and landings at the tops and bottoms of ramps. Ped diversion route should be 5’ wide and detectable for a person walking with the assistance of a long cane. Please email me for examples or other questions. 2. When closing the bike lane and first travel lane, please provide space behind the barricades for northbound cyclists on S 12th. This bike lane behind the barricades should be at least 5’ wide and shown and labeled on the next submission of the TCP. 3. Depending upon the width of the work area needed along W Calle Alvord, it may be necessary to prohibit parking on the north side of the street as well.
