The HPO recommends that a that a Class III archaeological survey be conducted by a qualified archaeological firm prior to ground disturbing activity.

Additionally, per A.R.S. §41-865, if human remains or funerary objects are encountered during ground disturbing activities on private land, ground disturbance should be haulted and the Arizona State Museum Repatriation Coordinator must be notified (asm-repatriation@email.arizona.edu).
