REVIEW 3

This plan has been reviewed for compliance with applicable development criteria in the City of Tucson Unified Development Code (UDC) Administrative Manual (AM) Section 2-11 and Technical Manual (TM) Section for landscape, native plants, and water harvesting.

Please resubmit revised drawings along with a detailed response letter, which states how all of the Site Landscape and NPPO Section review comments have been addressed.

SITE LANDSCAPE/NPPO SECTION COMMENTS:

1. Include street landscape border planting calculations for E Golf links Rd.

2. Adjust the depth to be no more than 9 inches in the WHIAs on the water budget table. More than 9 inches requires infiltration testing.

3. The graphic plan view depicting the WHIA appear to be the subwatershed area. WHIA is the basin itself. The square footages for WHIA and Subwatershed as shown on the water budget table appear to be correct and is stating that 72 percent of the plant water needs are being met by this rainwater harvesting plan. Add a note to the commercial rainwater harvesting plan that states: See civil grading plans for grading scheme, spot elevations, cub cut inlets and outlets, downspouts, etc. Please make sure that the above-mentioned grading scheme items are coordinated and simple to reference on sheet C3.10 (GRADING AND PAVING PLAN).

4. Remove the minus designation from the topdressing schedule. The minus/fines material has been misinterpreted on site installations. ¾ inch screened rock in your chosen color will work.

5. The DTM notes look good on the landscape cover sheet. Please include your correspondence/coordination emails or letter of approval from David Marhefka, PLA with DTM for the use of the ROW for required site landscape elements.

Thank you.
