To whom this may concern,
Thank you for the opportunity to comment on TD-DEV-0123-00109, the development plan for a
new fire station at 5580 South Nogales Highway. This development is located in the N.W.
corner of the S.E. quarter of Section 1, Township 15S, Range 14E, of the Gila and Salt River
Meridian. The development site occupies parcel number 137-01-007U, covers approximately
2.75 ± acres, and is zoned as Residence Zone 2 (R-2). The nearest major roadway intersection
is East Drexel Road and South Nogales Highway, approximately 600 feet to the southeast of
the subject development.
This site does lie within the Tucson International Airport avigation easement requirements and
public disclosure area, FAA traffic pattern airspace, and FAA Part 77 airspace.
The Tucson Airport Authority approves the proposed project and is not requiring a resubmit of
this project.
