This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. Per the battery specifications, the 5 batteries are to be connected in parallel, which would have a total output current of 250A. (50A each * 5 = 250A). The conductors labeled 5C and 5 are undersized for the design current on these conductors. 2. Clarify the total output current from the 5 parallel combined batteries and the current on each conductor to the inverters. 3. Clarify the total output current from the parallel combined inverters. 4. Conductor # 3 is undersized for the 200A. 5. Conductors labled #1 undersized. OCPD(Breaker) for copper conductor may not exceed 20A for #12 AWG conductors as required by IRC E3705.5.3, NEC 240.4(D)(small conductors). Provide minimum #10AWG CU conductors for this circuit. 6. The PV closet needs a complete building plan-set, including foundation, and roofing plans. 7. Clarify the roof sheathing being used for the new structure. Show a minimum structural sheathing thickness of 5/8” for T1-11 on roof, R802.1. OSB may be 3/8” thickness as a structural sheathing, whereas T1-11 is non-structural. 8. Identify all fasteners for wind loading compliance. Show roof (uplift resistance) fasteners (H2.5) with appropriate uplift capacity, R802.11 amended. 9.
