Please resubmit addressing the following comments:
1) Please show adherence to R330.8 Protection from Impact. ESS is placed within a drivable portion of the driveway, verify the height/location of ESS if relocated. If the ESS remains in the driveway, please use of the methods depicted in R330.8.3.
2) Provide fire detection within the garage where the Energy Storage System (ESS) is proposed to be installed. R330.7, areas containing ESS installed in attached garages shall be provided with smoke alarms or heat detectors installed in accordance with Section R310, and the plans shall clearly indicate the location of the required device
3) For future reference, projects with a similar scope of work may be eligible for review under a Residential Trade Permit. Standalone ESS installations that are not interconnected with an existing photovoltaic system are currently classified as trade permits. Any proposed interconnection must receive approval from the utility provider.

Note: Installation shall comply with applicable codes and manufacturer specifications. Final interconnection configuration and utility requirements shall be verified with the serving utility prior to installation.
