1. Provide ceiling joist sizes and spacing in compliance with Table R802.4.1(2).
2. 4x8 beam is undersized for the given span, Show a beam size with appropriate load carrying capacity, R301.1.
3. Notate and specify the size, spacing and length of anchor bolts for ledger connection to the existing wall, R801.2.
4. Show roof (uplift resistance) fasteners (H2.5) with appropriate uplift capacity, R802.11 amended.
5. Provide a complete cross-section detail from foundation to roof assembly with a respective notation of all hardware, hangers post caps, connecters, etc, indicated on the plan or elevation, R106.1.1. See https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/pdsd/pdfs/Porch_Sample.pdf for example cross-section details.
6. Completely detail all post connections from post base to the foundation, post to beam and beam to rafters, R301.1.
7. Show or notate a 6” minimum separation of untreated exterior posts above finished grade or metal post base with 1” space above concrete, R317.1.4 exception 1.
8. Provide footings for each post in compliance with R403.1.1, concrete footings of minimum 12” width and 12” below the undisturbed ground surface, with minimum of one #4 rebar.
