Sonora St. - R-2 Metal Fence (2nd Review) TRANSMITTAL: June 14, 2023 Provided a detail comment response letter with your submittal that clearly shows how you have addressed all comments with your next submittal. This site is located in the R-2 zone (UDC 4.7.9). A single-family residence (SFR) is a permitted use in this zone (Table 4.8-2). See Use-Specific Standards 4.9.7.B.6, .9, & .10. 1. Clearly demonstrate on the plan that the fence along Sonora St. is setback 13’-0” from the face of curb, where pavement hits the curb. 2. This comment was not addressed. Per UDC Article 6.6.2.I The maximum height of a wall or fence within a perimeter yard shall be six feet. As it appears that the fence has been placed within the 20’-0” street setback and the 6’-0” setback for the interior property lines and you have some fence that exceeds the allowed 6’-0” height a Design Development Option (DDO) must be submitted and approved to allow the height above 6’-0”.
