SITE PLAN:

1. The overhead electrical service conductor requires compliant height above the roof or replacement with underground service, R106.1.1. See electrical comment.

STRUCTURAL PLANS:

1. The proposed exterior wall replacement is sited within the 3’ fire separation distance from a property line. Show compliance with R302.1 (City of Tucson Amended) by providing a wall with one-hour rated materials prescribed in IBC Table 721.1(2), Items 15-1.1 to 16-1.3, R106.1.

SECTIONS - DETAILS:

1. Clarify the detail numbers on sheet S1.2, R106.1. The framing plan sheet S1.1 shows detail #2 on the exterior wall.
2. An unvented roof assembly requires an air-impermeable rigid insulation material with a minimum R-5 value applied correctly to either side of the roof sheathing, R806.5. Show the exterior wall detail with insulation types and minimum thickness for meeting the condensation control requirement and the minimum total insulation value of R-38 or R-30 when extended over the wall top plate for additions under 500 SF.

PLUMBING PLANS:

1. Note roof plumbing vents require a minimum of 10’ distance away the evap cooler or extend 3’ above all air intakes, P3103.5.

MECHANICAL PLANS:

1. Show mechanical draft systems not less than 3’ above a forced air inlet located within 10’, M1804.2.6.

ELECTRICAL PLANS:

1. Show the mast height on the electrical riser diagram providing 8 foot clearance above the roof or update to underground service, E3604.2.1.

OUTDOOR LIGHTING CODE

1. Show the proposed exterior fixture (circuit A-5) as full cut-off (FCO) style or provide an Outdoor Lighting Calculation including all exterior fixtures on the property for determining exterior lighting limits. Adjustable security light fixtures are unshielded, not FCO.
