This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received. Code reference, 2018 International Residential Code (IRC), 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC). 1. GFCI and AFCI protection per E3902 and E3902.15. 2. Show Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) protection for all receptacles as required in E3902. Including, all bathroom, washer/laundry area, dishwasher/disposal, kitchen countertop, etc. Update Electrical General Notes # 6 to show GFCI required when within 6’ of a sink per E3902.7. (circuits 5, 15, 19, 21, 16). 3. Protect extended branch circuits with combination type arc-fault circuit interrupters, or an AFCI type receptacle at the first outlet on the branch circuit, E3902.17. 4. Arc-fault protection. Provide Arc-fault protection per E3902.16. All listed branch circuits that supply 120V, 15- and 20-amp outlets shall be AFCI protected.
