Additionally, please submit complete copies of all permit documents (i.e. plans, calculations, reports, etc.) even if they have not been changed. Please contact me if you have any questions about the below comments. I can be reached at email mark.masek@tucsonaz.gov 1. Please amend the construction documents to clearly identify the specific water-resistive barrier proposed for use, including product name and manufacturer. The WRB shall comply with the requirements of IBC Section 1403.2. 2. Please specify the Exterior Insulation and Finish System (EIFS) to be used, including the manufacturer and system designation. Provide the applicable ICC-ES evaluation report number and include a copy of the evaluation report within the construction documents, in accordance with IBC Section 1407.2. 3. Please provide an architectural special inspections certificate identifying special inspections for both the EIFS installation and the water-resistive barrier, as required by IBC Sections 1705.17 and 1705.17.1. 4. Sheet G0.1: Please reprint the COMcheck as it is difficult to read when enlarged. Additionally, please complete the signature line of the certificate. IBC 107.2.1 5. Sheet S2.0: The Shea Wall Schedule indicates SW1, SW2 and SW3 and the Structural Calcs indicate SW-1, SW-2, and do not list SW-3. However SW-A and SW-B are in the calcs but not on the construction drawings. A. Please coordinate the information between the construction drawings and the structural calculations so both documents provide the same information. B. Pleas provide a Shear Wall Key Plan in the structural calcs . C. If SW-3 is used, it would appear special inspection is required with the 3” spacing at the edge attachment, is this correct? Please contact me if you have any questions about the above comments.
