01/22/2025 Commercial Mechanical REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Provide heating and cooling load calculations to justify the heating/cooling capacities of the specified HVAC units. Reference: Sections C403.1.1 and C502.2.3, IECC 2018.
2. Show that the walk-in cooler meets the construction requirements of Section C403.10.2, IECC 2018.
3. Show that the walk-in cooler meets the efficiency requirements of Section C403.10.2.1, IECC 2018.
4. The venting of the pizza oven is, “…factory approved for the direct method with a manufactured chimney…” if this is the intent, provide the specification and listing information for the exhaust ducting and show that the horizontal routing and termination complies with the listing. Reference: Section 503.5.1, IFGC 2018.
5. Verify that the exhaust ducts that terminate on the east wall are at least 10’-0” above the finished grade. Reference: Section 506.4.2, IMC 2018.
01/22/2025 Commercial Plumbing REQUIRES RESUBMIT The drawings show the new grease waste drain connecting to an existing grease waste drain. Show the location of the existing grease interceptor, and provide the calculations to verify that the existing grease interceptor will not be overloaded by the addition of the grease waste from the proposed restaurant. Reference: Section 1003.3, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson.
