Provide additional documents as requested by review staff. STRUCTURAL REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied 1. Provide Structural Calculations for Foundation per Section 1601.1 of International Building Code 2018 and ASCE 7- 16. The Enercalc printouts submitted references IBC 2012 and ASCE 7-10. Revise calculations and resubmit. 2. The Structural Calculations submitted shows Ceiling Plan and design for the Ceiling members. No Structural Drawing showing the Ceiling Plan is submitted. Submitted Drawing showing the Ceiling Plan. 3. Drawing S2.1 shows Note 3 saying the studs at 16” oc below ceiling joists. Provide info regarding ceiling joists and check if the structure above is adequate to support the additional loading of the ceiling joists. Submit a response letter addressing these correction items and provide bubbles on the revisions to the drawings. BUILDING REVIEW COMMENTS: Denied Review limited to the non-structural provisions of the 2018 International Building Code. Structural and MEP reviews by others. This review assumes the following, Please contact the reviewer if information is otherwise: 1. No hazardous materials storage or use that would necessitate classification as a Group "H" occupancy. 2. The entire building, including areas within the scope of work and the corridors serving that area, is fully sprinkled in accordance with NFPA 13. 3. Areas adjacent to the area of work are within a Group "B" occupancy classification or the building qualifies for the nonseparated occupancy provisions of IBC Section 508.3. 4. The building construction type is not identified in the construction documents. Sheet AD1.1B (keynote 9) shows that column wraps are to be demolished. Please confirm the construction type is such that non-fireproofed structural frame members are acceptable as per Table 601 of the IBC. Otherwise, Construction type IIB is assumed. Please provide project dollar valuation.
