Plan review for the above referenced structure has been completed. This letter reflects comments to be addressed. Provide updated Plans/calculations and a written response Letter to each of the notated items indicating action taken. Resubmitted plans that do not contain a written response Letter addressing each of the notated items indicating action taken, may be delayed until response letter is received.
Code reference, 2018 International Building Code (IBC), 2017 National Electrical Code (NEC).

1. Provide electrical load calculations, for the Main Service Panel, and each new distribution panel, Per NEC 220.40.
2. Provide Fault Current Analysis and show new equipment AIC rating sufficient to withstand the calculated Fault Current. Provide Available Fault Current calculations from TEP transformers to all new equipment, 2017 NEC 110.24.
3. Show new Panel’s and other new equipment with AIC ratings greater than or equal to the Available Fault Currents calculated, 2017 NEC 110.10.

10/21/2025 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Coordinate the keynotes on P2.0 with the keynote entries on the Plumbing Plan – Roof Level on P2.0 (e.g., #2, new medium pressure gas connects to #8, existing CW pipe above ceiling and then terminates as #4, low pressure gas up to roof). Reference: Section 107.2.1, IBC 2018.
2. Provide sizing calculations for the gravity grease interceptors based upon Section 1003.3, IPC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson, not Section 1003.3.5, IPC 2021. A 1500-gallon gravity grease interceptor does not have capacity for 172 DFU’s.

This site is located in the C-2 zone (UDC 4.7.21). Food Service is an approved use in the zone (UDC Table 4.8-4), subject to Use Specific Standards 4.9.4.M.1 and 4.9.13.P.

1. Comment: Zoning has reviewed the commercial building plans for compliance with Development Package (DP) TD-DEV-0325-00090 and all though the plans appear to match until the DP is approved by all review agencies Zoning cannot approve this permit.
