IBC Section 107.2.1 2. Please explain how wall termination/flashing detail 4/A104 is intended to allow the EIFS system to properly drain any water that may penetrate behind it. Based on the drawing, the flashing appears to extend above the bottom edge of the EIFS, which raises concerns about drainage continuity. Per IBC Section 107.2.1, construction documents are required to clearly demonstrate code compliance. Could you clarify how this detail addresses drainage requirements for the EIFS system?
