The drawing shall: • Specify the material of construction for the building sewer. Reference: Section 702.3, IPC 2024. • Specify the minimum sloe of the building sewer. Reference: Section 704.1, IPC 2024. • Specify the use of directional wye fittings to connect the building sewer to the existing private sewer main. Reference: Section 707.1(6), IPC 2024. • Provide a cleanout at the junctions of the building drains and the new building sewer. Reference: Section 708.1.3, IPC 2024. • Specify that the maximum distance between cleanouts shall be 100 feet, measured along the developed pipe length from the upstream entrance of the cleanout. Reference: Section 708.1.1, IPC 2024 • Provide an additional cleanout for each 40-foot section of drains having a change of direction greater than 45 degrees. Reference: Section 708.1.4, IPC 2024. • Specify that cleanouts shall open to allow cleaning only in the direction of flow. Reference: Section 708.1.9, IPC 2024.
