07/27/2026 Addressing Validation REQUIRES RESUBMIT For questions: PDSD-Permits@tucsonaz.gov

There appears to be two units linked to this address. The unit numbers are 2226 N STONE AV UNIT 150, and 2226 N STONE AV UNIT 100. An address change request must be completed through the sub record of this permit to add correct unit number, where the work is being performed, to this permit. Once that request is submitted, please resubmit documents to reflect the updated address.

Instructions can be found here to request change of address: https://www.tucsonaz.gov/files/sharedassets/public/v/2/pdsd/documents/tdc-faq/new-pdfs/sub-records.pdf

07/29/2026 Commercial Electrical Express REQUIRES RESUBMIT Please submit your revised documents and provide a letter with a written response letter addressing each of the comments indicating how the Review comments were resolved. Please note the submittal was incomplete and the plan review was conducted using the information presented. The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed.
Please contact me if you have any questions about the below comments. I can be reached at email mark.masek@tucsonaz.gov
1. Please clarify whether this project is a like-for-like service replacement or a service upgrade/relocation. Since the service is being relocated, demonstrate how the existing electrical loads will be served and identify all equipment affected by this work.
2. Revise the plans to include the following: IBC 107.2.1
A. Existing and proposed equipment ratings, including voltage, phase, and ampere ratings.
B. A complete electrical plan showing the location and layout of service equipment, switchboards, panelboards, required working clearances, conductor and raceway sizes, and circuit identification.
C. Equipment ratings and wiring methods.
D. Available fault current calculations from the service equipment to the lowest-rated overcurrent protective device or equipment.
E. The AIC rating of overcurrent devices (NEC 110.9) and the SCCR of equipment, as applicable (NEC 110.10).
F. Service and feeder conductor sizes, raceway sizes, lengths, locations, conductor material (copper or aluminum), and branch circuits exceeding 20 amperes.
G. Complete panel schedules identifying feeder ratings, branch circuits, connected loads, and spare/future circuits.
H. A complete one-line diagram showing the service equipment, switchboards, panelboards, disconnects, overcurrent protective devices, conductor and feeder sizes, and all applicable electrical ratings (voltage, phase, wire count, ampacity, AIC, SCCR, and NEMA rating, as applicable). A one-line diagram is required whenever new loads or equipment are added or modified.
I. Grounding and bonding details, including grounding electrode conductors, equipment grounding conductors, and bonding for all affected services and equipment.

Note: Electrical engineering is generally not required for installations, additions, modifications, or like-for-like replacements where the electrical work is 400 amperes or less, the available fault current is 22,000 amperes or less, and the system is 120/208V, 3-phase or 120/240V, single-phase. If this project qualifies for that exemption, provide sufficient information on the plans to demonstrate compliance.

Please contact me if you have any questions about the above comments.
