Provide a site plan showing the address where the replacement heat pump will be installed (a clear aerial photograph will be acceptable) . 2. Provide the specifications for the replacement HVAC unit (e.g. manufacturer, model number, heating/cooling capacity, and efficiency ratings). 3. Replacement of AC units and heat pumps will require a heating/cooling load calculation to justify the capacities of the units being installed. Reference: Sections R403.7 and R501.4, IECC 2024. 4. The replacement unit shall have an efficiency rating that is greater than or equal to the minimum required by the Department of Energy that went into effect on January 1, 2023, for the southwest region.
