1. Please clarify the specific use proposed under the Group E occupancy classification. For example, is the space intended for educational purposes through the 12th grade, or is it intended to operate as a child day care facility providing educational, supervision, or personal care services to children older than 2½ years of age for fewer than 24 hours per day? IBC 107.2.1 & IBC 305.2
2. Please provide a reflected ceiling plan showing the ceiling height, light fixtures, and supply and return registers. IBC 107.2.1

08/17/2026 Commercial Plumbing Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT 1. Correct the plumbing fixture calculation shown on sheet a010. A total population of 54 persons will require two restrooms, two drinking fountains, and a service sink. Reference: Sections 2902.1 and 2902.2, IBC 2024.
2. Provide a minimum of two drinking fountains; one accessible for standing persons and one accessible for persons confined to a wheelchair. Reference: Section 410.3.1, IPC 2024 (see also exception 1,Section 410.3 and Section 410.4, IPC 2024, as amended by the City of Tucson).

08/17/2026 Fire New Construction Standard REQUIRES RESUBMIT -Resolve all building comments.
-Include all fire alarm information in the code analysis. IFC 907.2.3, FA is required in Group E occupancies.
-Fire sprinklers are not required in this occupancy. Keep in mind, there is an IFC amendment to the fire sprinkler requirement for Group E, 903.2.3.
