The subsequent review could generate more comments after original comments have been addressed. 1. Please amend plans to indicate on the cover page that the signage is to be provided as part of this project and is to be submitted as a separate permit (not a deferred submittal). IBC 107.2.1 2. The plans indicate that pre-engineered wood trusses, pre-engineered canopies, the pre-engineered aluminum awnings and trellis will be provided as part of deferred submittal. Either provide the documents now or list on this sheet as a deferred submittal and include the following notes: PER IBC Section 107.3.4 <Name of Registrant>, the registered design professional in charge shall be responsible for reviewing and coordinating submittal documents prepared by others, including phased and deferred submittal items, for compatibility with the design of the building. PER IBC Section 107.3.4.1 Submittal documents for deferred submittal items shall be submitted to the registered design professional in responsible charge, who shall review them and forward them to the Building Official with a notation indicating that the deferred submittal documents have been reviewed and that they have been found to be in general conformance with the design of the building. 3. Please amend plans to note the required special inspection on the cover sheet. For example. Concrete Construction, Masonry Construction, Soils, EIFS and Water-resistive barrier coating. IBC 107.2.1 4. Please provide the special inspection certificate with Part A and Part B, completed with next submittal. Condensate drains may not terminate in an area that is not capable of absorbing the condensate flow without surface drainage (e.g. directly over the roof). Condensate drains shall be terminated at an approved disposal location. Reference: Section 307.2.1, IMC 2018, as amended by the City of Tucson. 2. Provide information on the sequence of operation for the restroom exhaust fans (i.e., CEF-1, CEF-2, and CEF-3) to show that all the air supplied to the restrooms will be exhausted during hours of operation. Show unshielded fixtures with a maximum of 3,000 lumens, OLC 401.4. Show lamps with a maximum of 3500K color temperature, OLC 402.1. 3. Show compliance with total outdoor light output per 2012 City of Tucson/Pima County Outdoor Lighting Code section 401.2. Total outdoor light output shall not exceed the lumen limits listed in Table 401.1. 4. E1.1 – Lighting Code section 104.2.2. 4. Show compliance with shielding requirements and light trespass per 401.3. 5.
