This letter reflects comments to be addressed. PLEASE send all response to comments back to the City through the permit portal! Responses sent directly to Stantec will be ignored. The scope of this review covers the architectural, structural, plumbing, mechanical, and electrical designs as they relate to the codes adopted by the jurisdiction. All features were checked only to the extent allowed by the submittals provided. All portions of this project are assumed to meet or will meet other departmental requirements, conditions, and concerns before permit approval. Also, provide City of Tucson special inspection certificate(s) with Parts A and B completed. Make sure that the owner or their legal representative signs the form. Still Required: The special inspection certification provided is missing special inspection for epoxy anchors. Please revise and resubmit. Further, the special inspection certificate includes masonry and high strength bolting special inspections which are not required as there is no structural masonry or high-strength bolts included in the design. Please remove these special inspections Sheet A1 1. New Comment: The Occupancy Group indicated for the proposed restaurant is A-3. IMC 2018 Sec. 507.3] Still Required: This comment does not appear to be addressed; a type II hood was not included over the indicated dishwasher. A response letter was also not provided for the Mechanical and Plumbing comments to verify reasoning. Please provide a response letter with the next submittal. 2. Addressed.
