COMMENTS:
1. NOTE: This is new business in a new address occupying half of the current space. One side is the new Barber Shop and the other half is the existing Salon Shop.
a. A new building permit and Certificate of occupancy shall be required.
i. NOTE: the new barber shop will not be allowed to open without the above.
ii. Please inform the barber shop owner.
b. A new address shall be applied for with Addressing department at 520-724-9512.
i. This half of the existing space is essentially a new space/new business.
ii. Once the address is resolved, correct the address of this permit and correct the address on the drawings.
2. RESTROOM #2
a. LAVATORY
i. You are proposing to remove the lavatory. Please illustrate this by showing the lavatory shape as a dash line.
b. WASHER AND DRYER
i. You are proposing to locate the Washer/Dryer in the current location of the water closet. You are proposing to remove the water closet. Please show the water closet as dashed line.
ii. Show the location of the New washer/dryer on the floor plan.
iii. Locate and label the cold and hot water lines.
iv. Locate and label the drain/waste line.
v. Locate and label the water hammer arrestor.
vi. Locate and label the dryer exhaust route to the exterior.
vii. Locate and label the washer electrical receptacle and indicate the breaker number power is coming from.
viii. Locate and label the dryer electrical receptacle and indicate the breaker number power is coming from.
c. Insta-Flo water heater.
i. Locate and laber insta-flo water heater being relocated.
d. EXHAUST FAN
i. Locate and label the exhaust fan.
3. RESTROOM #1
a. You are proposing an ADA compliant restroom.
b. You are proposing to install grab bars at the side and back of water closet. Please draw the grab bars and install structural backers within the walls to receive the grab bars. Locate and label this on your drawing.
c. Required floor clearance area of 60” x 56” at the water closet. The lavatory is infringing onto the required side to side clear area of 60 inches. Please relocate the lavatory to comply with ICC ANSI A117.1 figure 604.3 9.
i. Locate and label the exhaust fan.
d. Locate and label the new insta-flo water heater.
4. NEW SHAMPOO BOWL
a. Locate and label the new shampoo bowl.
b. Locate and label the new location of the relocated insta-flo water heater.
c. Locate and label the new cold and hot water line.
d. Locate and label the waste/drain line.
e. Locate and label the new electrical receptacles for the barber chair and any receptacles required by a barber tools and equipment. Indicate the electrical breaker power is coming from.
f. Locate and label the required lighting at this new shampoo bow and barber chair.
